800 Participants Gather at UM to Celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the University of Macau, Track and Field Activity was held successfully
To celebrate its 45th anniversary, the University of Macau (UM) held a Track and Field activity at the UM Stadium on 14 March, the first sports activity launched for the 45th anniversary celebrations.
Nearly 800 participants participated in the activity. With the support of university leaders, heads of academic and administrative departments and alumni associations, who also officiated the start of the 450m Funny Walk.
The activity mixed competitive sports and specially designed events for the anniversary, highlights included the inaugural 450m RC Relay and the 2×45m Walking Relay. 150 students, staff, alumni and families participated in this event. They celebrated the UM’s 45th anniversary with health and happiness. In addition, 50 UM Sports Volunteers provided assistance to ensure the smooth running of the activity.
