Important notice:  The Campus Management and Development Office – Construction and Maintenance Section will commence the construction works of S5 and S6 Dormitory Buildings in April 2026, with an estimated duration of over a year. During the construction period, there will be ongoing operational noise, vibrations, and dust.  Construction Hours: 8:00– 12:30 and 14:30 – 20:00 daily. Louder-noise activities will be concentrated between 09:00 – 12:30 and 14:30 – 18:30 daily (Sundays and public holidays excluded). Your understanding will be greatly appreciated. Due to potential impacts on living conditions during the construction period, applicants are strongly advised to consider this carefully before submitting their application.

 

Dear prospective students,

This bulletin is exclusively applicable to students who enrolled in programmes conducted in the Main Campus. Students who enrolled in programmes conducted at the Transitional Research and Education Site of University of Macau’s Campus in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and the Main Campus are advised that the information contained in this notice does NOT apply to them at this stage. A separate and relevant notification will be issued to students via email in due course.

Eligible students who have accepted the offer from UM will be notified of the on-campus accommodation application details. Students applying for accommodation in the Postgraduate House are required to follow the instructions in the notification email and complete their applications within the specified period. Late applications will NOT be considered.

A.   Eligible applicants:

1. Year-one postgraduate students* of AY2026/2027 who are in their first year of study and do not have a residence in Macao.
2. Year-one postgraduate students* who will resume studies in AY2026/2027, the student must:

• • NOT have a residence in Macao;
  • did not complete the registration process but applied for deferment of study in the previous academic year; and
  • have been approved for resumption of studies in AY2026/2027.

* Accommodations are not provided to students at all levels of the following courses:

• • • • Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)
      • Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
      • Doctor of Education (EdD/DED)
      • Doctor of Public Administration (DPA)
      • Doctor of Public Health (DrPH)
      • Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma Programmes

B. (Updated on 8 April 2026) Application Status for the Main Campus Accommodation for the 1st Semester of AY2026/2027:

1. Year-one postgraduate students* of AY2026/2027 who are in their first year of study and do not have a residence in Macao. Eligible students who have accepted offer on or before 23 Mar 2026 should have received an email from PGH. Please check the mailboxes accordingly (including junk, spam or other email folders). Email is sent with subject: ”[UM-PGH Main Campus] Application for accommodation for the 1st Semester AY 2026/2027” An individual link is sent to student. Please do NOT share the email, link or any access to others.  Students who accept offer after 23 Mar 2026, application details are not announced yet.

2. Year-one postgraduate students* who will resume studies in AY2026/2027, application details are not announced yet.

 

C. Remarks

• Students with Macao Resident Identity Card who do not have a residence in Macao: Students are required to send an email to sao.pgh@um.edu.mo to raise your request.
• For students who enrolled in programmes with special arrangement in collaboration with residential colleges, your residence arrangements will be emailed to you by the relevant units.

 

D. Payment period

E-debit note will be issued in batches. Students are required to settle the residence fee payment within the designated payment period to secure their bedspaces. The payment periods for each batch are as follows:
