Dear students,

The Career Development Centre of the Student Affairs Office will organize the “Career and Internship Fair 2026” on 1 April 2026. Over 110 companies across 28 major industries will participate in this event.  This year, we have also invited renowned companies from the Chinese Mainland to join us, such as Alibaba Group, BGI Group, iFLYTEK, etc., providing more career opportunities for UM students

Meanwhile, we have developed a website for the event (https://careerfair.sao.um.edu.mo/). Please log in to the website using UM Pass (your student ID and passwords) to access more employment information and details of the participating companies.

Venue: Multi-function Halls (G008, G014 and G018) of UM Guest House (N1), University of Macau
Remarks:

  • Attend in business attire
  • Bring your resume to submit job applications directly to participating companies

2026 Local Summer Internship Program (Non-credit bearing internship)

2026 Local Summer Internships are now open for applications. Internship opportunities are posted on the UM Student Job Vacancy System. More vacancies will be posted irregularly over the coming months. Please continue to log in and check the system from time to time for available internship opportunities, or use the “My Subscription” function to receive relevant job vacancy advertisements.

2026本地暑期實習計劃現已開始接受申請，實習資料已在澳大學生職位空缺系統內發佈。更多的實習機會將會不定期上載至系統，敬請有興趣的同學們不時登入系統查看最新資料，或使用系統的訂閱功能，接收相關職位空缺的廣告。

We encourage you to explore your vocational personality and address your career decision-making challenges by visiting the Vocational Compass, created by Prof. Hui Xu, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Macau.

The website provides bilingual self-assessment tools to help you discover your vocational personality and suitable occupations, as well as develop strategies to overcome career decision-making difficulties. Its OpenAI counsellor provides comprehensive career suggestions based on recommended occupations. After completing the self-assessment, you will receive a detailed report.
