Introduction

To promote the development of technological innovation in Macao S.A.R. and enable local researchers to master the practical knowledge of patent drafting, the Economic and Technological Development Bureau (“DSEDT”) will host the High-Quality Patent Drafting Training on 14^th and 15^th of April from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in the meeting room on 7th-floor of DSEDT.

The training will be conducted by patent experts from China National Intellectual Property Administration. The topic covers the essential elements of high-quality patent applications and, from the patent examiner’s perspective, to analyze drafting requirements, practical drafting tips, and key examination concerns. It aims to help participants increase their patent grant rates through high-quality applications and to make full use of the preferential accelerated examination measures available to Macao S.A.R. patent applicants.

This training will be conducted in Mandarin.
