On the evening of March 30, 2026, University of Macau Moon Chun Memorial College Dom Pedro V House held the “Solving the Puzzle: A Qingming Riddle Night” activity. The event used the “puzzle” reasoning game format with the theme of the Qingming Festival, guiding students to explore both thinking and culture in a traditional festival atmosphere.

At the start of the activity, the host first introduced the basic knowledge of the puzzles and explained the rules and process. Students were then divided into groups to take on the reasoning challenge. Each group worked with a puzzle scenario provided by the host. By asking “yes” or “no” questions, they gradually pieced together the complete story. The puzzles were designed around Qingming traditions and folk tales, allowing students to naturally encounter cultural elements during the reasoning process.

During the process, group members interacted actively, thinking carefully and sharing ideas as they worked with scattered clues. When faced with seemingly contradictory information, lively discussions often broke out within the groups. Some groups experienced sudden breakthroughs after asking key questions, and the atmosphere became exciting. The host guided the groups along the way, helping them focus their reasoning and encouraging them to think about the cultural meanings behind the puzzles—such as remembrance, commemoration, and life education—which are core values of the Qingming Festival.
