Centre for Macau Studies (CMS) is now recruiting Student Trainee(s) for assisting in CMS Publication Projects. 

Current UM Students (Both Local and Non-Local) are welcome to apply for the position. 

 

Job Duties

Provide assistance with copyediting, formatting, and ensuring compliance with scholarly publication standards, while maintaining consistency in grammar and logic;

Perform other ad-hoc dutes as assigned.

 

Requirements

Current UM Students;

Undergraduate Year 3 or above; Master’s student and PhD candidate are preferred;

Good Command of Written Portuguese and English,

Good Communication Skill and Team Spirit, Strong sense of Responsibility and Positive work attitude;

Familiar with the relevant Historical Background;

Being able to work according to a fixed working schedule will be prioritized for consideration.

 

Work Hours

Trainees are required to work 3-5 sessions (9-15 hours) per week; 15 hours maximum per week;

Regular working hours for student trainees:

Monday to Friday

– Morning session: 10:00-13:00 (3 hours)

– Afternoon session: 15:00-18.00 (3 hours)

 

Stipend

MOP 66/ hour

 

* Qualified students will be contacted for interview or other assessment. Renewal of position is possible based on satisfactory work performance.
