The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), in collaboration with the national Deep Space Exploration Laboratory, is co-hosting the 1st National Deep Space Cultural and Creative Works Promotion Activity. This event aims to bridge science popularisation with technological innovation, inviting creative minds to contribute their imagination and wisdom to the future of deep space exploration.
Here are the key details of the competition:
- Target Participants:
- Student Category: Currently enrolled students from secondary schools, universities, and other educational institutions (Individuals or teams of up to 4 members).
- Public Category: Open to the general public, enterprises, research institutions, and individual creators.
- Categories of Works (Choose one):
- Creative Works: IP images, cultural LOGOs, artworks, and cultural/creative derivatives.
- Technological Innovation: Deep space exploration technology models, science popularisation installations (including 3D printing), etc.
- Exciting Rewards:Outstanding participants will have the chance to
- receive official certificates 🏆
- participate in international deep space exchanges
- become official cultural/creative partner designers✨
- winning student teams and advising teachers may earn a study tour experience at a rocket launch site🚀
- excellent works will be exhibited at a special deep space-themed exhibition at PolyU

- Submission Deadline: 24 May 2026
- Online Preliminary Review: late May – early June 2026
- Themed Exhibition: 15-17 June 2026
- Final Review & On-site Events: 16 June 2026 (expert lectures, award ceremony will be held at HK PolyU).
