FHS is now recruiting student trainees to support publicity works (Position 1, 2) and IT works (Position 3, 4). Please find the detailed information below. All current UM students are welcome to apply for the positions.
Scope of tasks
Position 1
Assist in organising seminars, symposium and other activities
Assist in guest reception
Assist with office daily operation
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Position 2
Assist in promotional work via various social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Weibo
Assist in writing press releases and promotional articles (English & Chinese)
Assist in translational work (English to Chinese or vice versa)
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Position 3
Install, configure and update hardware, software, system and network
Maintain IT equipment
Perform other office duties as assigned
Position 4
Assist in developing IT project
Update websites with WordPress
Perform other office duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Position 1
Punctual, proactive, detail-oriented. polite and strong sense of responsibility with positive working attitude
Good command of spoken Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) and English
Good communication skills and willing to communicate with visitors and guests
Able to take good photos by using mobile phones
Available to work during the summer recess is an advantage
Position 2
Punctual, proactive, detail-oriented. polite and strong sense of responsibility with positive working attitude
Good command of written Chinese and English
Have experience to manage social media accounts and conduct promotion via WeChat push will be prioritized for consideration

Position 3
Possess knowledge of computer hardware, PC building
Possess knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS)
Self-initiative, can work independently with strong sense of responsibility
Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin is an advantage
Position 4
Possess knowledge of WordPress, or website development experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript
Knowledgeable in at least one of Python, PHP and SQL is an advantage
Self-initiative, can work independently with strong sense of responsibility

Stipend and Work Hours:
Hourly rate: MOP 48 or 66 per hour, depending on the capabilities
