1. 自主學習自強不息 – 土木及環境工程系陳宇航 Self-Directed Learning and Self-Improvement across University Life – Yuhang CHEN from CEE

陳宇航是土木及環境工程系本科及榮譽學院畢業生，憑著制定澳門風暴潮危害的評估框架的研究，可為澳門提升防災減災的效益、應急管理和城市規劃，因此奪得學系「優秀畢業設計項目獎」。他的項目提出一個評估指標體系，其中包括危害指數、社會脆弱性指數和承災能力指數，可按收集到的社會資料，評估各區域對風暴潮的脆弱程度，同時加入了數值模擬，估計了澳門海平面上升後在與強颱風下的危害水準和綜合風險水準。對於獲獎，他感到很鼓舞，更希望自己的研究對澳門的發展和社會進步能作出實質貢獻，讓人們更加安全舒適地生活在這個城市。

Yuhang Chen is a graduate of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) and the Honors College of the University of Macau (UM). With his research on the assessment framework for storm surge hazards in Macau, he enhances the effectiveness of disaster prevention, emergency management, and urban planning in Macau. For this achievement, he won the “Dean’s Final Year Project List Award”. His project proposed several evaluation index, which includes hazard index, social vulnerability index, and disaster resilience index. Based on the collected social data, it can evaluate the vulnerability of various regions to storm surges, and incorporated numerical simulation to estimate the hazard level and comprehensive risk level under the conditions of rising sea levels and strong typhoons. He felt encouraged by winning the award and hopes that his research can make a substantial contribution to the development and social progress of Macau, allowing people to live in this city more safely and comfortably.

周俊宇是電腦及資訊科學系本科畢業生，憑著實時人臉檢測和表情識別的研究，在畢業設計項目中獲得優秀的評價。他的項目運用FACS人臉面部識別編碼系統，同時證明了yolo人臉識別和FACS同時結合的可行性，可應用在汽車安全駕駛和犯罪心理學等人臉識別。四年大學時光轉瞬即逝，除了感謝其指導教授張立明和學系其他教授的悉心指導和支持，也慶幸自己找到了應用性強且具創新性的研究方向。畢業後他將前往海外升學，精進此領域，繼續其科研探索之旅。

Junyu Zhou is a graduate of the Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS) of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), whose real-time facial detection and expression recognition research earned him high praise in his final year project. His project utilized the FACS facial recognition coding system and demonstrated the feasibility of combining YOLO facial recognition and FACS, which can be applied in facial recognition fields such as automotive safety driving and criminal psychology. Zhou is grateful for the guidance and support provided by his advisor, Liming Zhang, and other professors in the department, and he feels fortunate to have found a highly applicable and innovative research direction. After graduation from UM, he plans to pursue further studies overseas and continue his research journey in the same field.

3. 好學心切, 分秒必爭 – 電機及電腦工程系李俊輝 An Ambitious and Diligent Student – Chun Fai LEE from ECE

李俊輝是澳門大學科技學院電機及電腦工程系的本科畢業生，以優秀成績畢業，在畢業設計項目中提出了一種基於漏電電流注入技術的曲率補償技術而奪得學系「優秀畢業設計項目獎」。對此，他十分感謝評審們認可，同時也慶幸大學願意給予學生機會，早在大學一年級已經讓學生接觸前沿研究。在科研環境的薰陶下，令他深受啟發也成功找到自己的志向。

Chun Fai Lee is a graduate from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), University of Macau (UM). He graduated with excellent grades and received the “Dean’s Final Year Project List Award” for his final year project, which proposed a curvature compensation technique based on leakage current injection technology. He is very grateful for the recognition of the Faculty and fortunate that students are given opportunities to engage in cutting-edge research as early as the first year of university. Under the influence of the research environment, he was inspired and successfully found his direction.

林霖及宋乃禾是澳門大學科技學院機電工程系的本科畢業生，二人憑藉熱療研究奪得學系「優秀畢業設計項目獎」。由於製造技術和機器人的不斷精進，熱療研究可協助研究人員用具有加熱功能的微型機器人在人造靜脈及血液中檢驗較高溫度下細胞被破壞的現象。在多份設計項目作品中脫穎而出，兩人皆感到很鼓舞，而能力和水準獲評審肯定及認同，也更加堅定了她們繼續求學的決心。

Lam Lam and Naihe Song are recent graduates of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering (EME) at the University of Macau (UM). Two of them won the “Dean’s Final Year Project List Award” for their research on Hyperthermia for Non-Newtonian Fluid inside an Imitation Circular Vein. With the continuous improvement of manufacturing technology and robotics, their research could potentially assist in using micro-robots with heating functions to detect the phenomenon of cell destruction at higher temperatures in artificial veins and blood, which is particularly relevant due to the continuous improvement of manufacturing technology and robotics. Standing out among many final year projects, Lam and Song also feel encouraged, and the recognition from the judges have strengthened their determination to continue studying.

張文宇及王明煌是科技學院數學系本科畢業生，憑著使用分析模型對農作物病害進行分類，成功奪得數學系「優秀畢業設計項目獎」。古話有云:「民以食為天，食以糧為本。」農作物是中國最基本的食品，他們的研究可更準確地判斷農作物病害的性質，達到對症下藥，提高防治效果，提升農作物的收成。對於獲獎，除了感謝學院對他們能力的認可外，也感激四年中孜孜不倦培育他們的數系教授們，他們的悉心指導令張文宇及王明煌可以探索真理，發揮自身潛能。未來張文宇畢業後將精進學習，繼續其科研探索之路，而王明煌則投入到職場中，努力創造自身價值。

Wenyu Zhang and Minghuang Wang are both undergraduate graduates from the Department of Mathematics (MAT) of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST). They received the “Dean’s Final Year Project List Award” for their successful use of analytical models to classify crop diseases. Crops are the most basic food in China, their research can more accurately identify the nature of crop diseases, enhance crops protection, disease management and increase crop productivity. In addition to thanking the Faculty for the recognition of their abilities, they are also grateful to the professors in the department who have tirelessly cultivated them over the past four years. Their guidance has enabled Zhang and Wang to explore the truth and unleash their potential. After graduation from UM, Zhang will continue his research and learning journey, while Wang will go for job hunting and strive to create his own value.

任佳豪是科技學院物理及化學系首屆本科畢業生，憑著鈣鈦礦太陽能電池的研究，成功奪得學系「優秀畢業設計項目獎」。他的項目從缺陷鈍化、薄膜形貌、能級排列等多個角度說明鈣鈦礦底介面工程對提高鈣鈦礦太陽能電池性能的重要性，同時證明瞭底部性能的研究價值。對於獲獎，除了感謝學院對自己努力的認可外，更感激其指導教授邢貴川教授的悉心指導，也慶幸自己找到了適合且具創新性的研究方向。夢想成為科學家及科技創業者的任佳豪，未來將前往新加坡南洋理工大學升讀博士學位，繼續探索科研之旅，朝著心中的目標勇往直前，為實現夢想而努力奮鬥。

Jiahao Ren is the first batch of UG student to graduate from the Department of Physics and Chemistry (DPC) of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST). He received the “Dean’s Final Year Project List Award” for his research on perovskite solar cells. His project explained the importance of perovskite bottom interface engineering in improving the performance of perovskite solar cells from various perspectives, such as defect passivation, film morphology, and energy level alignment. He also demonstrated the research value of studying the bottom performance. In addition to thanking the Faulty for recognizing his efforts, he was grateful for the careful guidance of his supervisor, Prof. Guichuan XING, and fortunate to have found a suitable and innovative research direction. Ren dreams of becoming a scientist and technology entrepreneur. After graduating from UM, he will go to Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to pursue his Ph.D. degree and continue his research journey, working hard to realize his dreams.
