New Software in ICTO Computer Room: Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps

Dear academic staff and students,

To support teaching and learning needs, ICTO has installed Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps  in the E6-2092 Computer Room. This software suite includes After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and other applications, catering to various forms of artistic creativity.

Notice:
An Adobe account or UMPASS account is required to access Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps. For more details, please refer to the FAQ below.

ICTO Workshops: “Get Familiar with Foxit Quickly – Practical PDF Editing Skills” and “Briefing on how to use ICTO Computer Room“ were successfully held

The ICTO workshops, “Get Familiar with Foxit Quickly – Practical PDF Editing Skills” and “Briefing on How to Use ICTO Computer Room,” were successfully held this Wednesday. Colleagues from various departments practiced their PDF editing skills and enhanced their understanding of the ICTO Computer Room facilities. We look forward to hosting more practical events in future to provide our colleagues with more IT knowledge.

Suspension of ICTO Computer Room and Service Counter at E6 Learning Commons during Summer Recess

To : All Users

Please be informed that ICTO computer room service located at E6 will be suspended from 1 July 2024 (Monday) to 11 August 2024 (Sunday) for computer operating system and software upgrades, as well as deep cleaning of the computer rooms.

During this period, users can still use the virtual computer room to access university-authorized software from anywhere on their own computers through the Internet. For more information, please refer to the service page:

Moreover, the ICTO service counter and personal multimedia computer rooms at E6 will also be temporarily suspended.

Normal service hours will be resumed on 12 August 2024 (Monday).

Suspension of ICTO Computer Room and Service Counter at E6 Learning Commons during Summer Recess

To : All Users

Please be informed that ICTO computer room service will be suspended from 1 July 2023 (Saturday) to 13 August 2023 (Sunday) for performing computer operating system re-installation, application software upgrade and room environment deep cleaning work.

During this period, users can still use the virtual computer room to access the software licensed to the University on their own computers anywhere via the Internet. For more information, please refer to the service page:

Moreover, the ICTO service counter in Learning Commons at Central Teaching Building (E6), notebook computer loan service and personal multimedia computer rooms will also be temporarily suspended.
