資訊及通訊科技部現已推出Windows 11。為了讓同事們了解更多 Windows 11操作系統的特點,資訊及通訊科技部於3月26日舉辦了「認識 Windows 11 – 探索最新功能和使用技巧」簡介會。

在簡介會中,我們介紹了Windows 11的界面、Windows 10 與 Windows 11的比較、升級到 Windows 11 的好處、升級安排、Windows 11 使用技巧等及現場示範,這有助於讓同事們了解新Windows 11操作系統並為升級做好準備。

ICTO has launched Windows 11.  In order to introduce more about the features of Windows 11, ICTO has organized a briefing “Meet Windows 11 – Discover the Latest Features and Tips” on 26th March. 

In the briefing, we shared about the interface of Windows 11, comparison between Windows 10 and Windows 11, benefits of upgrading to Windows 11, upgrade arrangements, tips for Windows 11 etc. and demonstrations.  This helped enhance understanding about the new Windows 11 operating system and prepare for upgrade.

“Briefing on Microsoft Teams“ was successfully held

As Zoom no longer sold its service to the University starting from January 1st, 2025, to ensure continuity of online collaboration, ICTO is actively working on providing Microsoft Teams as a transitional solution.

In order to introduce more about Microsoft Teams, ICTO invited unit representatives and AITSAG members to join the “Briefing on Microsoft Teams” which was held this Wednesday.  In the briefing, we shared about Microsoft Teams features, account types, and common functions such as create or schedule meeting, meeting invitation and admittance, recording etc.  This helped enhance understanding how to use Microsoft Teams.

為更好介紹Microsoft Teams,ICTO邀請部門代表和電腦教學技術支援諮詢小組 (AITSAG)成員參加本週三舉行的「Microsoft Teams講解會」。 在講解會中,我們介紹了Microsoft Teams的功能、帳戶類型以及常見功能,例如建立或排程會議、會議邀請和接納、錄製等,這有助於加強同事們了解Microsoft Teams的功能及操作。

Renovation of ICTO Help Desk Outside Area Starting from 23 November 2024

為了優化空間並提供更舒適的技術支援體驗,資訊及通訊科技部服務中心(E5-2085)外的空間將於2024年11月23日至12月期間進行裝修翻新工程。工程期間,部分區域將封閉,另外,現有高速網路專區將遷移至 E6 學習共享空間。

如需到訪資訊及通訊科技部服務中心,請從E6學習共享空間入口(近7-11便利店)旁搭乘E6-L6電梯至2樓,左轉並經過電腦室前往。現場將設有適當指示。

In order to optimize space and provide a more comfortable environment for IT support, renovation work will be carried out at the area outside ICTO Help Desk (E5-2085) starting from 23 November 2024 until end of December 2024. During renovation, certain areas will be closed off, and the current High-Speed Internet zone will be relocated to E6 Learning Commons.

If you need to visit ICTO Help Desk, please take the E6-L6 elevator located next to the entrance of the E6 Learning Commons (near the 7-11 store) to the 2nd floor, then turn left and go through the computer room.  Instructions will be posted on site.
