在更換工程進行期間，副數據中心的電源將關閉，以保障工作人員的施工安全。大部份ICT服務將由主數據中心提供而不會中斷，唯以下ICT服務將於上述期間暫停服務：

  • 高性能計算集群 (HPCC)
  • 電腦資料復原

Details

During the replacement period, the power supply of Secondary Data Center will be suspended to ensure the safety of construction personnel. Most of the ICT services will be provided by Primary Data Center without interruption, except the following services which will be suspended during the above period:

  • Open Data API
  • UMDrive
  • High Performance Computing Cluster (HPCC)
  • PC Data Recovery

茲通知資訊及通訊科技部將於10月15日(星期日)上午9:00到下午12:00為數據中心不間斷電源系統進行年度演習。是次演習目的是為驗證不間斷電源系統及其相關服務，在突發情況下是否能按既定的計劃執行應變措施，以進一步完善災難恢復計劃。

在演習期間，所有資訊服務將會維持正常運作。

W21-W23 大樓網絡升級工程

各位同學及同事：

茲通知資訊及通訊科技部將於以下時間對有線區域核心交換機和接入層交換機進行網絡升級工程。

第一階段 – 更換W21-23 有線區域核心交換機

區域核心交換機為匯聚所屬大樓的所有網絡設備，所有網絡服務包括有線、無線、IP電話服務、互聯網服務及CCTV等服務將在以下時段暫停，有關服務將於升級工程完成後恢復正常。

Please be informed that ICTO will perform network upgrades for Regional Core Switches and Access Layer Switches replacement as per the below schedule.

Phase 1 – Replacement of Regional Core Switch in W21-W23

The Regional Core Switches aggregate all the network equipment in their buildings. Campus network services (Wired, Wireless, IP Phone, Internet Access services and CCTV etc.) will be suspended during the replacement to be taken place. The services will be resumed once the upgrade tasks are completed.
