Sports: ISF World School Basketball Championship 2024 to take place from 23 June to 3 July, some matches are held in UM Sports Complex (N8)

由國際中學生體育聯合會主辦，教育及青年發展局承辦，澳門大學協辦的2024年世界中學生籃球錦標賽，將於2024年6月23日至7月3日在澳門舉行，來自20個國家／地區合共37支隊伍近600名代表在澳大綜合體育館 (N8)、望廈體育中心及塔石體育館進行合共117場賽事。

部分賽事將於澳大綜合體育館 (N8) 主場館及訓練館進行，並於6月24日開始，歡迎大家免費到場欣賞比賽。而賽事所有場次均開放予公眾入場觀看及進行網上直播，歡迎大家到場或透過直播（https://www.youtube.com/@mac-broadcast/streams）欣賞比賽。其他比賽詳情可瀏覽教育及青年發展局網站：https://portal.dsedj.gov.mo/webdsejspace/site/ce/index.jsp

參加是次賽事的國家／地區包括（按國際中學生體育聯合會會員國家大會排序）：比利時、巴西、保加利亞、智利、中國、塞浦路斯、捷克共和國、法國、希臘、中國香港、印度、中國澳門、墨西哥、蒙古、新西蘭、沙特阿拉伯、塞爾維亞、中華台北、土耳其及烏干達。
澳門大學會為參賽隊伍安排校園導賞。

 

Organized by the International School Sport Federation (ISF), hosted by the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) and co-organized by the University of Macau, the ISF World School Basketball Championship 2024 is going to take place in Macao from 23 June to 3 July 2024. A total of 37 teams with about 600 students from 20 countries/regions will be gathering in Macao to compete in the matches. A total of 117 matches would take place at the Sports Complex (N8) of the University of Macau, the Mong-Ha Sports Centre and the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion.

Some matches will take place at the Sports Pavilion and Training Hall at UM Sports Complex (N8) starting from 24 June, you are all welcome to support and watch the matches on-site. All matches of the Championship will be livestreamed (https://www.youtube.com/@mac-broadcast/streams) whilst seats at the competition venues will also be available to the general public for free. Countries/regions taking part in this event include (in order of ISF Member Associations): Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hong Kong China, India, Macao China, Mexico, Mongolia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Chinese Taipei, Türkiye and Uganda.

【Sports Activity】: A Baseball Training Camp at Zhongshan was successfully held

17 students concluded their two-day, one-night training camp with the Zhongshan Panda Baseball Club in Xiaolan, Zhongshan earlier this month.

Under the guidance of coaches from the Zhongshan Panda Baseball Club, students participated in various training activities, including batting, fielding, pitching, and base running. These training activities aimed to improve students’ baseball skills and fitness levels while allowing them to experience the charm of baseball sports. They learnt about rules and basics of Baseball, Softball and Baseball 5. 

Students expressed that the training camp was a rare opportunity for them to gain exposure to more baseball knowledge and skills. It also expanded their social networks and horizons. They thanked the Zhongshan Panda Baseball Club for providing such an opportunity and expressed their hope for more similar activities in the future to provide them with more learning and growth opportunities.

Coaches from the Zhongshan Panda Baseball Clubwere also satisfied and pleased with the successful conclusion of the training camp. They commented that the students performed exceptionally well during the two-day training and expressed confidence and expectations for the future development of baseball sports in UM.

OSA aims to further promote and develope the sports of Baseball, Softball and Baseball 5 in UM in the future, and the planning of formation of such teams are in the work.

日前，17名學生在中山小欖的中山熊貓棒球俱樂部完成了為期兩天一夜的訓練營。

在中山熊貓棒球俱樂部的教練指導下，學生們參加了各種訓練活動，包括擊球、守備、投球和跑壘等。這些訓練活動旨在提高學生的棒球技能和健康水平，同時讓他們體驗棒球運動的魅力。他們學習了棒球、壘球和5人棒球制的規則和基礎知識。

學生們表示，這次訓練營是他們獲得更多棒球知識和技能的難得機會，也擴大了他們的社交網絡和視野。他們感謝中山熊貓棒球俱樂部提供這樣的機會，並表達了希望未來有更多類似活動，以提供更多的學習和成長機會。

中山熊貓棒球俱樂部的教練們對訓練營的成功結束感到滿意和高興，並稱學生們在為期兩天的訓練中表現出色，並對未來大學棒球運動的發展表達了信心和期望。

體育事務部希望未來進一步推廣和發展棒球、壘球和5人棒球運動，並計劃成立相關隊伍。
