Graduate Management Admission Council® (GMAC®) is the leader in the discovery and evaluation of talent—through assessments—for programs of study in management and business education. Our primary service, the Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT®) exam is an invaluable tool used by graduate management programs around the world to aid the admissions process. GMAC® also provides solutions and tools for business schools to enhance their recruitment capabilities.

The Student Ambassador – Greater China will be responsible for mainly promoting the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) exam & its prep products to prospective students in China. As a student ambassador, you will play a key role in raising awareness of the benefits of taking the GMAT and helping to drive interest and registration for the exam.

 

Requirements:

  • Current Year 1 to Year 4 students, regardless of your subject or degree.
  • Aspiring GMAT exam candidates, with no specific score requirement.

To effectively request recommendation letters from professors for postgraduate admission, here are 5 pieces of advice:

One Plan Ahead

Begin the process early, approaching professors at least two to three months before the application deadline to allow ample time for thoughtful letters.

Two Choose the Right Professors

Select professors who know you well and can offer specific insights into your academic abilities, character, and potential. Prioritize those who have taught you relevant courses or supervised your research.

Three Express Interest in the Programme

Explain your motivations for pursuing further study and how their guidance has influenced your academic journey.

Four  Provide Relevant Information

Share pertinent details about your achievements, goals, and experiences to assist professors in crafting effective letters. Provide your resume, academic transcripts, research papers, or any supporting documentation to give them a comprehensive view of your qualifications and aspirations.

Five Follow Up and Express Gratitude

After professors agree to write your recommendation letters, express your gratitude with a thank-you email or note. Keep them updated on your application progress and inform them of any admission outcomes. Maintaining a positive relationship with your professors is essential for future networking and academic pursuits.

Remember to approach professors respectfully, supply necessary information, and express appreciation for their time and effort in writing the letter. Following these actionable steps increases the likelihood of receiving strong recommendation letters for your postgraduate admission.

 

為了有效地請求教授為你撰寫研究生入學申請推薦信，以下有5項建議：

One 提前計劃

盡早開始籌備，至少在申請截止日期前兩至三個月與教授聯繫，確保他們有充裕的時間寫一封有效的推薦信。
