Trial release of DeepSeek internally in UM

We are pleased to announce the trial release of DeepSeek, a cutting-edge GenAI tool, now available locally at our University. This service is deployed through our internal servers, ensuring enhanced security and confidentiality for all data and files uploaded by UM members. Access to this service is restricted to the Intranet.

The trial release could be visited by https://genai.um.edu.mo

This trial release is for UM members to test and for us to collect your comments. However, it may be intermittently slow and unstable due to resource constraints . We will monitor usage and review feedback for future planning and improvements.

New User Interface and Navigation, enhance user experience by improving ease of use, engagement, and accessibility through simplified tasks and intuitive pathways.
Improved text editor, including headless editing for greater flexibility, improved performance and mobile support for a smoother user experience.
Updated to Moodle 4.1, includes bug fixes and security enhancements.
