Trial release of DeepSeek internally in UM

We are pleased to announce the trial release of DeepSeek, a cutting-edge GenAI tool, now available locally at our University. This service is deployed through our internal servers, ensuring enhanced security and confidentiality for all data and files uploaded by UM members. Access to this service is restricted to the Intranet.

The trial release could be visited by https://genai.um.edu.mo

This trial release is for UM members to test and for us to collect your comments. However, it may be intermittently slow and unstable due to resource constraints . We will monitor usage and review feedback for future planning and improvements.

The Community System has been successfully upgraded and resumed, thank you for your patience and understanding. New features are now available:

  • New User Interface and Navigation, enhance user experience by improving ease of use, engagement, and accessibility through simplified tasks and intuitive pathways.
  • Improved text editor, including headless editing for greater flexibility, improved performance and mobile support for a smoother user experience.
  • Updated to Moodle 4.1, includes bug fixes and security enhancements.

ePortfolio System has been upgraded

Dear Users,

The ePortfolio System has been successfully upgraded and resumed, thank you for your patience and understanding. New features are now available:

  • Supports Single Sign-on (UMPASS), users can now access the system through Single Sign-on, eliminating the need to repeatedly enter login credentials in different UM websites.
  • Plugin updated, users can now stably submit ePortfolio assignment in UMMoodle.
  • This version is mobile friendly.
  • The system has been updated to the latest version, includes bug fixes and new layout.
