Please be informed that an electrical maintenance work will be carried out at N8, P1.

 

The power supply and network services at N8, P1(include wired, wireless, and IP phone services) will be suspended or affected during the following periods:

MCTV Channel Adjustment from 27 March 2023

Please be informed that in order to accommodate the planning of spectrum resources for telecommunications in the Macao SAR, some TV program channels will use new transmitting frequencies from 11:00am, 27 March 2023 (Monday). Tenants are required to re-scan the TV program list on their TV’s in order to watch all the TV program channels normally.

“Earth Hour 2023” Lights Out Campaign: 8:30 PM-9:30 PM on 25 March 2023

Dear Colleagues and Students,

 

To align with the principle of energy conservation, our University will join the “Earth Hour 2023” lights out campaign, which will take place at 8:30 p.m. on 25 March 2023 (Saturday). Partial lightings of the lobbies of the following buildings will be switched off for one hour, only essential lightings will remain:

 

  • Faculty of Science and Technology (E11)
  • Faculty of Health Sciences (E12)
  • Humanities and Social Sciences Building (E21)
  • Faculty of Business Administration (E22)
  • Faculty of Law (E32)
  • Faculty of Education (E33)
  • Cultural Building (E34)

 

Outdoor areas:

  • Landscape lightings – partial off
  • UM LED signage (Rooftop of N23 & N24) – all off.

 

You are also encouraged to turn off unnecessary lights in the dormitory or at home to  support this meaningful activity!

Preventive maintenance for generators in March 2023

Dear Students, Residents and Colleagues,

Please be informed that the preventive maintenance for generators will be carried out according to the below schedule. During the inspection, electrical system will not be affected. However, please note that smoke and noise might be generated around the generator and its room area.
