N23及N24科研大樓之「澳門大學」中文標誌及葡文標誌現正進行照明設備更換工程

Dear Students and Colleagues,

The Chinese and Portuguese signs of “The University of Macau” on the rooftops of N23 and N24 research buildings are currently undergoing lighting equipment replacement. Due to operational needs, brightness and uniformity adjustments will be conducted at night, when the lights will be intermittently or partially turned on or off. The adjustment work will be concluded by 21:00 each night, and the project is expected to be completed by early January 2025.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and your understanding will be highly appreciated.

Fall Chill Air Challenge

Fall Chill Air Challenge (01 to 30 November 2024)

To encourage energy saving, the Electrical and Mechanical Section (EMS) and the Office of Health, Safety & Environmental Affairs (HSEO) are going to organize the “Fall Chill Air Challenge” from 01 to 30 November 2024. We are calling for staff and students to join this meaningful activity. Do grab the chance to enter into a lucky draw and win a prize!

Application and What-to-Do:

  1. Apply through the link provided: https://webdocs.um.edu.mo/sites/eform/cmdo/ems/Lists/Registration/NewForm.aspx
  2. Application deadline: 2024/10/30
  3. Record the number of days in November (2024/11/1 – 30) when you enjoy air-conditioning for ≤ 8hr / day.
  4. Submit your record (number of days) through another link (which will be provided in due course).

Rules:

  1. All participants are entitled to the lucky draw. (Draw date: 2024/11/20)
  2. When a participant enjoys air-conditioning for ≤ 8hr on a calendar day in November, i.e. 2024/11/1 – 30, it will be counted as an accomplished day.
  3. The number of hours per day (00:00 – 24:00) will cover all air-conditioned locations on campus where the participant may station, e.g. administrative, academic, or residential areas, etc.
  4. Target number of accomplished days ≥ 15.
  5. Liaison on air-conditioning usage in any shared space, e.g. office, classroom, laboratory, etc., is the responsibility of the participants.
  6. Air-conditioning in public spaces such as lobby, corridor, and commercial areas, are not to be considered in this activity.
  7. Records will be collected after the activity, i.e. after 2024/11/30. (Link will be provided in due course)

         為鼓勵節約能源，機電處與安健及環境事務辦公室將於2024年11月1 – 30日舉辦「秋日涼風挑戰」。現呼籲各同事及同學們一同參與這項有意義的活動，把握抽獎機會贏取禮品！

如何參與:
