This bulletin is provided by UMSU Badminton Club and posted by Office of Sports Affairs (OSA).

In order to promote sports culture and build up friendly relationship between UMSU Badminton Club and MUSTSU Badminton Club. We are going to organize “Badminton Fans Cup” and please find the details below:

Target Participants: Students of UM (澳門大學) and MUST (澳門科技大學)

Events: Doubles

Date, Time and Venue:

2 Nov (13:00-22:00), Badminton Court, MUST
3 Nov (13:00-18:00), Badminton Court, MUST
4 Nov (09:00-12:00; 14:00-19:00), Badminton Hall, 4/F, UM Sports Complex (N8)

Registration Fee:

$45 (Member of UMSU Badminton Club and MUSTSU Badminton Club)
$55 (Non-member of UMSU Badminton Club and MUSTSU Badminton Club

*Quota:

Men’s Double: 32
Mixed Doubles : 16
Women’s Doubles : 16

*Remarks: Both UM and MUST may have registration quota equally, however, if there is any remaining quota after the registration deadline, the remaining quota will be transferred to the others.

Note:

Players have to bring their own racket;
Each team can register for at most 1 U team or 1 Macau team member;
The current U team or Macau team member is not allowed to participate in more than one of the double event.
Players must wear proper sportswear, such as sportswear and sports shoes. Otherwise they are not permitted to play;
The badminton shuttlecocks will be provided by the organizers for the use of the competition;
The side that touches any facility at the top of the court during a match will be deemed to have lost points for the ball;
All players are required to arrive at the registration counter 15 minutes before the start of the event with their student ID cards;
If a player is not on the spot for five minutes after the roll call, the player will be disqualified;
If it is found that the player does not match the registered status, the player will be disqualified;
All players will be responsible for any injury or accident during the competition.

Prizes will be awarded to:

Champion
1st Runner-up
2nd Runner-up

Remarks: Souvenir will be available to all participants.
