5 tips to help you adapt to your new job quickly 5招讓職場新鮮人快速融入工作

After the tough selection process and receiving your offer, university graduates will become “freshmen” at work again. Although you are the “rookie” at work, we still have 5 tips to help you get into your role at work quickly:

• Learn as much as possible at your new job. This doesn’t just apply to the professional knowledge that you need at work but also applies to the work mode, dress code and working style.
• Find out how you can contribute to the company. See where you can use your skills in your new job.
• Get to know as many colleagues as possible. This does not just apply to the department or the team that you work in, new joiners should also try to know more colleagues from other departments. This will not just help you to broaden your network, but also make sure that you can work smoothly in future cooperation with other departments.
• Ask for help. When you encounter problems that you are not able to solve yourself, remember to ask for help. Your colleagues may be able to help you not only solve the problem, but also find out what caused it.

經過關斬將，得到心儀的工作後，各位大學畢業生也一下子變成了”職場新鮮人”。雖然是所謂的“菜鳥”，但我們也準備了5招讓你可以盡快融入工作：

• 在新工作中盡可能多學習。這不僅僅包括工作上所需要用到的專業知識，也包括工作模式、著裝規定以及工作風格。
• 找出自己能夠貢獻的地方。進入新的工作環境後，看看自己可以在哪些地方發揮自己的技能。

• 尋求幫助。當自己遇到無法解決的問題時，記得尋求幫助。你的同事不僅能夠幫助你解決問題，也可以讓你快速了解問題的原因。

How to be an excellent intern 如何成為一位優秀的實習生

Summer is a good time to gain work experience, internship is a perfect way to get yourself acquainted before you start working. How to be an excellent intern that employers like?

• Ready to learn: The main purpose of an internship is for you to gain work experience. A good attitude toward learning can help you learn as much at work as possible within a short period of time.
• Be punctual: Punctuality couldn’t be simpler, yet many students fail to do it. Interns shall not only report to work on time, but arriving early for meetings can allow you to arrange for it, leaving a good impression to the employers.
• A good working attitude: Even if the tasks are simple or if there is too much workload, you should keep a professional attitude so that you may finish your work smoothly.
• Manage interpersonal relations at work: If you can maintain a good interpersonal relationship with other interns and colleagues, you may leave a good impression to other people. This can help you with your career advancement.
