澳大廣辯隊在“2023大灣區大專辯論邀請賽”衛冕總冠軍
澳門大學廣東話辯論隊日前在“2023大灣區大專辯論邀請賽”中成功衛冕總冠軍，實現二連冠！
是次比賽由澳門演辯文化協會主辦，目的是為了促進粵港澳大灣區優秀青年的學術交流，同時讓三地青年透過辯論比賽的形式來瞭解粵港澳大灣區的發展狀況。故此，吸引了區內六所大專院校參加，當中包括澳門科技大學、香港中文大學、香港城市大學、廣州中醫藥大學、暨南大學珠海校區以及澳門大學﹝掛名不分先後﹞。
澳門大學對戰香港城市大學之辯題為「大灣區養老是港澳長者最好選擇」，反方澳門大學派出主辯法學院一年級、滿珍書院羅仲謙同學；第一副辯社會科學學院三年級、紹邦書院邱垚源同學；第二副辯教育學院三年級、蔡繼有書院黃穎輝同學以及結辯法學院四年級、張崑崙書院許倩婷同學。經過一輪激烈的比賽，最終澳門大學以1:4擊敗香港城市大學，並以全場最高得分之優勢，成功奪魁實現二連冠。

The University of Macau Cantonese Debating Team (CDT) recently successfully won their championship for the second time in the “2023 Greater Bay Area Intercollegiate Debate Invitation Tournament”, achieving 2nd consecutive winning pick!
The competition was organized by the Debating and Speech Culture Association of Macao with the aim of promoting academic exchange among outstanding young people in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It also provided an opportunity for the youth from these three regions to understand the development of the Greater Bay Area through debating. As a result, six higher education institutions from the region participated, including the Macau University of Science and Technology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Jinan University Zhuhai Campus, and the University of Macau (in no particular order).
The debate topic for the contest between the University of Macau and the City University of Hong Kong was “The Greater Bay Area is the best choice for elderly care for the elderly in Hong Kong and Macau.” The opposition team from the University of Macau consisted of the first speaker, Faculty of Law freshman and Moon Chun Memorial College student LO CHONG HIM; the second speaker, a third-year student from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Shiu Pong College student QIU YAO YUAN; the third speaker, a third-year student from the Faculty of Education and Choi Kai Yau College student WONG WENG FAI; and the concluding speaker, a fourth-year student from Faculty of Law and Cheong Kun Lun College student HOI SIN TENG. After an intense competition, the University of Macau emerged victorious with a score of 1:4 against City University of Hong Kong, securing the championship with the highest overall score. UM CDT successfully achieved a 2th consecutive winning pick.
Remarks: In the event of any discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
