澳大卓越教學獎得主將談教學理念演變

澳門大學將於11月1日(星期三)舉行“澳門大學卓越教學獎”講座,2022/2023學年得獎者、工商管理學院綜合度假村及旅遊管理學系助理教授楊曦將以“從產品管理到體驗管理:教學理念演變之旅”為題發表演講,分享在教育環境轉變和數碼化時代影響下其教學理念的演變歷程,以及其個人教學經驗。歡迎有興趣人士參加。

澳大一向重視優質教學及學生的學習經驗,因此特設年度性的“澳門大學卓越教學獎”,以鼓勵及表彰教學表現傑出的教學人員一名。每年的得獎者均由各學院中最優秀的教師經遴選委員會嚴格選出,委員會包括校董會成員、教師與學生代表,以及社會人士。

楊曦分別在北京大學及香港科技大學獲得學士及博士學位,於2019年加入澳大,在工商管理學院綜合度假村及旅遊管理學系擔任助理教授。其研究領域涵蓋旅遊及款客服務業的多個重要主題,包括從業人員心理、體驗管理、目的地品牌等。楊曦在研究方面也表現出色,發表逾30篇學術論文,連續兩年(2020/2021及2021/2022學年)獲得工商管理學院卓越研究獎,以及在該學院2022/2023學年的教學人員年度獎勵計劃中獲獎。她目前擔任著名學術期刊Journal of Travel Research及Tourism Analysis的編委。

楊曦的教學方法歸納為“體驗管理”,是從服務業借鑒的一個關鍵概念,旨在通過感官、情感、象徵、身體、關係及感知體驗等多個維度營造充滿活力和吸引力的學習環境,使學生即使畢業後仍持續受益,不斷自我提升。

UM Teaching Excellence Award recipient to give talk on evolution of teaching philosophy

The University of Macau (UM) will hold the UM Teaching Excellence Award Seminar on 1 November (Wednesday). Fiona Yang Xi, assistant professor in the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management of the Faculty of Business Administration, is the recipient of the UM Teaching Excellence Award for the 2022/2023 academic year. She will give a talk titled ‘From Product Management to Experience Management: The Evolution of My Teaching Philosophy’. All are welcome to join.

The talk will feature Prof Yang’s unique insights into the evolution of her teaching philosophy, which is shaped by the dynamic shifts in the educational landscape and the influence of the current digital era. Prof Yang summarises her teaching philosophy as ‘experience management’, a key concept originating from the service industry. It is about using sensorial, affective, symbolic, physical, relational, and cognitive dimensions to foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment that will continue to benefit students even after they graduate.
