澳大持續進修中心為廣東外語外貿大學學生舉辦英語提升專題培訓
澳門大學持續進修中心於1月2日至6日為24名來自廣東外語外貿大學英語語言文化學院的學生舉辦「英語升級專題培訓課程」。
爲期五天的培訓班内容豐富緊湊，除了上課外，亦邀請了澳門大學英文辯論隊的成員們與學員們進行交流，分享了英文辯論賽的規則和比賽發生的趣事，並即時進行了一場模擬辯論友誼賽。在校外參訪的環節中，學員們參訪了澳門教育及青年發展局轄下的駿菁活動中心。學員們參觀了中心於2021年完成優化工程後的最新設施，包括：多用途球場、資訊休閒站、綜合活動室、義工室、攀岩牆、保齡球場、劍擊室、健身室、BAND房、剪接室和露天茶座等。學員們感到在澳門人口最稠密的北區有如此多元豐富的教育活動中心為澳門學生及青年提供活動空間。隨後學員們還去了科學館觀看天文館3D球幕節目和多項主題展覽。學員們均認為透過培訓學習開闊了視野，爲日後畢業創造更廣闊的發展空間。
廣東外語外貿大學是廣東省高水平大學重點建設高校，是華南地區具有鲜明國際化特色的高校之一。其轄下的英語語言文化學院肇始於1965年成立的廣州外國語學院英語系，是廣外歷史最悠久、學術底蘊最深厚的院系之一。
澳大持續進修中心致力推廣和推動與重點高校的交流和合作，希望通過學生交流與培訓課程，加強澳大與灣區高校的合作。
CCE organises a training course on English Upgrade for students of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies
The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) organises a training course on English Upgrade for a total of 24 students from Faculty of English Language and Culture of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies during Jan 2nd to 6th.
The five-day training course was rich and compact. In addition to the class, UM English debate team were also invited to communicate with the students, sharing the rules of the English debate competition and something fun in the past competition. Then both parties had a debate friendly match. In the part of off-campus visits, students visited Activities Centre of “Bairro do Hipodromo” under Macao Education and Youth Development Bureau. The trainees visited the latest facilities of the center after the optimization project was completed in 2021. Afterwards, the students also went to Macao Science Center to watch 3D dome program of the planetarium and a number of themed exhibitions. We got positive feedback from the students.
Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) is a key university for the construction of high-level universities in Guangdong Province, and one of the universities with distinctive international characteristics in South China. Faculty of English Language and Culture is one of the departments with the longest history and the deepest academic background in GDUFS.
CCE continues to offer training programs and promote collaboration between UM and higher education institutions in the Greater Bay Area.
