Highlights of Experience and Games
UM Volleyball Team Fun Day was successfully held
The UM Volleyball Team Fun Day was held successfully on 20 Feb 2023 at UM Sports Complex (N8) and there was a total of 90 UM students participating in this activity.
Office of Sports Affairs (OSA) organized this university team Fun Day with the aim to let UM students to interact with the university team members and to experience team training through designated teaching sessions.
In order to let the participants to know better about our UM Men’s Volleyball Team and Women’s Volleyball Team, besides introducing each team member, the team background and past achievements were also being presented. In order to let participants to have a better understanding of this sport, the basic volleyball rules and regulations were being introduced by team members and instructional videos. After that, participants experienced 4 different kinds of training (passing, setting, serving and spiking) and finally, 8 students had joined the exchange match and interacted with our u-team members.
Both the participants and volleyball team members enjoyed a lot in the Fun Day with positive feedback.

李靖瑜 今次活動對於初次接觸的同學來說是一個非常好的機會去體驗一下打排球，同時也讓同學們對排球這項運動加深了認識。校隊成員的身型和體格都很好，他們亦十分有耐心去教導同學。我十分享受最後和校隊成員進行了一場交流比賽，我也在活動過程中認識到新朋友，如有機會，我想再參加類似的活動。 |
