Mask wearing requirements to be adjusted from 27 February 2023

2023年2月27日起調整佩戴口罩的措施

親愛的同事及同學們:

本澳疫情持續平穩٬新型冠狀病毒感染應變協調中心由2023年2月27日起調整佩戴口罩的措施如下։

  • 室外場所不要求佩戴口罩;
  • 個人出現發熱, 肌痛, 咽痛, 咳嗽, 流涕等流感樣症狀時應佩戴口罩;
  • 進入以下場所及交通工具的人士須佩戴口罩
    • 醫療機構
    • 長者和康復院舍
    • 公共交通工具(的士除外);
  • 其他室內場所和交通工具٬由主管實體根據當時的疫情風險等因素自行評估及決定是否佩戴口罩⸰

應變協調中心建議市民日常外出時備有口罩以便有需要時使用٬並在家中儲備至少可供2週使用的口罩⸰

Dear colleagues and students,

As the epidemic situation in Macao remains stable, Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre adjusted the mask wearing requirements from 27 February 2023.

  • One is not required to wear a mask when staying in outdoor places;
  • One should wear a mask when developing flu-like symptoms such as fever, myalgia, sore throat, cough, running nose, etc.
  • One is required to wear a mask when entering the following places:
    • Medical institutions
    • Elderly and rehabilitation homes
    • Public transport (except taxis);
  • For other indoor venues and modes of transport, the supervisory entities should assess the risk of infection and decide whether wearing mask is necessary.

The Response and Coordination Centre also advised the public to carry a mask when going out in case it is needed, as well as to prepare at least 2 weeks’ supply of masks at home in case of emergency needs.
