UM Women’s Basketball Team won 2nd runner-up

UM Women’s Basketball Team member, LIN WENG HA, was chosen to be one of the Best Athletes

Match Highlights

UM Women’s Basketball Team won 2nd runner-up at
“The 8th Cross-Strait University Student Exchange Competition”

The “The 8th Cross-Strait University Study Exchange Competition” was held from 22 to 27 Aug in Shanghai. UM Women’s Basketball Team was invited to participate and compete with 5 colleges from Cross-Strait areas in this exchange competition. A total of 12 members from the UM Women’s Basketball Team were selected to represent the university in this exchange competition.

After 4 days of intensive matches, the UM Women’s Basketball Team won 2nd runner-up and team member, Lin Weng Ha, was selected to be one of the Best Athletes of the competition.

The competition results are shown as below:
23 Aug (Fri) – Group Robin Match I
Soochow University vs UM
60:43 (UM lost)

25 Aug (Sun) – Group Robin Match II
UM vs Shanghai University
60:18 (UM won)

26 Aug (Mon) – 2nd Runner-up Match
UM vs Tunghai University
59:52 (UM won)
