2024 UM Sports Fest

Dear Students, Staff and Alumni,

Office of Sports Affairs (OSA) and UMSU Sports Association (UMSU SPA) will jointly organize the “2024 UM Sports Fest” from 28 Sep to 27 Oct 2024. UM Staff Sports Club (UMSSC) and 20 UMSU Sports Sub-clubs are the co-organizers.

This year, we will have 24 activities (9 sports experience and 15 competition events), including American Football, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Diabolo, Dragon Boat, Fencing, Football, Judo, Karate, Kinball, Korfball, Orienteering, Rock Climbing, Rowing, Squash, Table Tennis, Tchoukball, Tennis, Track and Field, and Volleyball).

Sports Experience 運動體驗 (PE Hour is involved)

There are altogether 9 sports experiences (11 sessions) and we cordially invite you to take part in these activities.

Drawing will be arranged if registration is over the available quota. Successful registration will be notified via email while other students (on waiting list) will also be notified via email. If there is any cancellation of registration, the quota will be allocated to others on the waiting list.

PE Hours:
1. Each student is eligible to receive the relevant PE Hour(s) for one session of the same sports event only.
2. Students who arrive late or leave early over 10 minutes of the activity schedule will NOT be given PE hour(s).
3. Students who leave the venue during the activity for over 10 minutes will NOT be given PE hour(s).
4. Students are required to check in/out of the activity with Student ID Card. For those who do not respect the activity or neglect the staff’s guidance, OSA reserves the right to cancel his/her PE Hours.

Sports Competition 運動比賽 (Cash Award is involved, for Student Category only)

There are altogether 14 sports events, including 13 sports competition events for student category; 5 sports competition events for staff category; and 1 sports competition event for alumni category. We cordially invite you to take part in these activities.

Competition registration is on first-come, first-served basis. Successful registration will be notified and the competition schedule will be provided via email or other form of media.
