澳大在港澳廣東話辯論賽包攬冠亞軍
澳門大學廣東話辯論隊在“2024港澳大專辯論邀請賽”與香港中文大學、香港科技大學、香港城市大學、嶺南大學、澳門科技大學和澳門城巿大學就時事議題、青年事務及兩地民生政策進行激辯，並包攬賽事的冠、亞軍殊榮。
是次比賽由澳門演辯文化協會主辦。澳大第一場派出澳門大學B隊對戰香港城市大學，辯題為“港澳應增加免費電視台”。正方澳門大學B隊派出科技學院一年級、曹光彪書院的裴先銘，社會科學學院三年級、霍英東珍禧書院的馮卓楠，社會科學學院四年級、紹邦書院的邱垚源，以及教育學院四年級、蔡繼有書院的黃穎輝出戰。經過一輪激烈的比賽，澳門大學B隊以4:1擊敗香港城市大學，並以全場最高得分的優勢奪得冠軍。澳門大學B隊黃穎輝獲得該場最佳辯論員。
澳大第二場派出澳門大學A隊對戰香港中文大學，辯題為“‘澳車北上’及‘港車北上’政策範圍應予擴大”。正方澳門大學A隊派出法學院一年級、霍英東珍禧書院的陳穎芝，法學院一年級、何鴻燊東亞書院的區嘉豐，法學院一年級、何鴻燊東亞書院的陳凱銘及法學院一年級、馬萬祺羅柏心書院余偉弘作賽，最終以4:1擊敗香港中文大學，以全場第二高分奪得亞軍。澳門大學A隊余偉弘獲得該場最佳辯論員。

UM wins championship and runner-up titles in Hong Kong and Macao Cantonese debating contest
The Cantonese Debating Team of the University of Macau (UM) won the championship and runner-up titles in the ‘2024 Hong Kong and Macao Cantonese Debating Contest’. Organised by the Debating and Speech Culture Association of Macao, the contest featured debating teams from UM, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University, Macau University of Science and Technology, and City University of Macau. Participants debated topics including current issues, youth affairs, and policies concerning the livelihoods of people in Macao and Hong Kong. In addition, two UM students won the best debater awards in the contest.
