On 18 November 2024, the University of Macau String Orchestra (UMSO) held a concert titled “Dreaming with the Nation” at the Theatre of the Student Activity Centre. This event celebrated two significant anniversaries: the 75th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th Anniversary of the Macao SAR.

The concert featured a diverse selection of classic music, including pieces such as “Happy Birthday Variations,” “Fisherman’s Evening Song”, “You Are My Sunshine”, and “Dance of the Wine God”. Conducted by Cheong Wai Leong, Assistant Conductor of UMSO and a Cultural Ambassador of Macao, the performance brought together the university’s faculty, students, and the community.

Guest performer Mars Siu Hong LEI enriched the evening with heartfelt renditions of “My Motherland and Me” and “You Are My Sunshine”, making the celebration even more special. The concert was a joyful occasion, uniting everyone in a shared appreciation of music and national pride.

2024年11月18日，澳門大學弦樂團在學生活動中心的音樂劇場舉行了名為“與國同夢”的音樂會，慶祝中華人民共和國成立75周年及澳門回歸祖國25周年這兩個重要的里程碑。

音樂會演出了多首經典音樂作品，包括《生日快樂變奏曲》、《漁舟唱晚》、《我的太陽》和《酒神之舞》。音樂會由澳門大學弦樂團助理指揮及文化傳播大使張偉樑指揮，吸引了大學的師生及市民共同參與。

特邀演出者李兆康為現場觀眾獻唱了《我和我的祖國》和《我的太陽》，以充滿情感的演繹讓慶祝活動更加特別。這場音樂會成為了一個愉快的時刻，讓大家在音樂和民族自豪感中團結在一起。
