UM Men’s Volleyball Team won the Champion at “The 5th UVCC Volleyball Championship”

Men’s Volleyball Team (white jersey)

 

UM Men’s Volleyball Team was being invited to participate in “The 5th UVCC Volleyball Championship” which was held in Shanghai from 17-19 Jan. There were 13 invited higher institutions from different regions, over 180 athletes participating in this championship, namely Central China Normal University (華中師範大學), Hangzhou Dianzi University (杭州電子科技大學), Huazhong Agricultural University (華中農業大學), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (華中科技大學), Northwestern Polytechnical University (西北工業大學), Peking University (北京大學), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (上海交通大學), South China University of Technology (華南理工大學), Southwest Jiaotong University (西南交通大學), Tianjin University (天津大學), Wuhan University (武漢大學), University of Macau (澳門大學) and Zhejiang University (浙江大學) respectively. As last, UM Men’s Volleyball Team won the champion and the results are as follows:

In addition, players from UM team were being awarded the following prizes:
– Lei Hio Fong (FBA/SPC) – “Best Setter”
– Deng Tenglong (FLL/MLC) – “Best Blocker”
– Li Junling (FSS/CKPC) – “Most Valuable Player”

Through this exchange activity, UM students had a great opportunity promoting UM to other places as well as interacting with volleyball players from different regions.
