FED – Scholar from University of Manchester Visits Faculty of Education at University of Macau
教育學院 ─ 英國曼徹斯特大學學者到訪澳門大學教育學院
On April 25, 2025, Dr. Miguel Antonio LIM, Senior Lecturer from the Manchester Institute of Education, The University of Manchester, visited the Faculty of Education (FED) at the University of Macau. He was warmly received by Prof. Lianghuo FAN, Dean of FED; Prof. Barry Lee REYNOLDS, Programme Director of the Master’s Programme; Prof. Dongbo ZHANG, International and External Partnership Leader of FED and Prof. Xin GUO. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on educational research collaboration and academic exchange.
Dean Fan emphasized FED’s commitment to aligning with the University’s research development strategies, actively promoting interdisciplinary collaborative research at the regional, national, and international levels. He highlighted that Dr. Lim’s visit served as a bridge for further communication between the two institutions and expressed hopes for substantive progress in academic cooperation and talent development in the future. Subsequently, Prof. Dongbo ZHANG provided a detailed overview of FED’s history, faculty development, programmes and research in such areas as teacher education, educational policy and digital education.
Dr. Miguel Antonio LIM shared about the educational philosophy and research strengths of the Manchester Institute of Education, focusing on its research and practices in areas such as educational equity, educational leadership and policy, comparative and international education and digital education. He highlighted successful cases of collaboration in these areas between the University of Manchester and institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. He also expressed aspirations to collaborate with the University of Macau on research related to education in Portuguese-speaking countries and educational development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
This visit has deepened mutual understandings between the two institutions in the field of education and laid a foundation for future collaboration. The Faculty of Education at the University of Macau has reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its international partnership network to further enhance the globalization of higher education in Macao.

2025年4月25日，英國曼徹斯特大學教育學院高級講師Miguel Antonio LIM博士到訪澳門大學教育學院，受到院長范良火教授、教育研究生課程主任Barry Lee REYNOLDS教授、國際與對外關係負責人張東波教授以及郭歆教授的熱情接待，雙方就教育研究合作與學術交流等議題展開深入探討。
范良火院長表示澳門大學教育學院貫徹大學科研發展方針，積極推動區域性、全國性及國際性跨領域協同研究，並表示Lim博士的來訪為雙方搭建了進一步溝通的橋樑，期待未來在學術合作與人才培養方面取得實質性進展。隨後，張東波教授詳細介紹了教育學院的發展歷程、師資團隊建設、課程體系特色及近年來在教師教育、教育政策及數字教育等領域的研究成果。
Miguel Antonio LIM博士在會上分享了曼徹斯特大學教育學院的辦學理念與科研優勢，重點介紹其學院在教育公正、教育領導力與政策、比較與國際教育以及數字教育等領域的研究成果和實踐經驗。他特別提到曼徹斯特大學與亞太地區院校在上述相關領域合作的成功案例，並表達了與澳門大學在葡語國家教育研究及粵港澳大灣區教育發展等議題上開展合作的願景。
此次訪問不僅深化了兩校在教育學科的相互了解，更為雙方教育合作奠定了基礎。澳門大學教育學院表示將持續拓展國際合作網絡，助力澳門高等教育的國際化發展。
