On 30^th April, 2025, Moon Chun Memorial College, University of Macau and the Association for the Promotion of Public Legal Services jointly organised a sharing session at the college. The event featured two experienced court lawyers, Mr. Mak Hing Yip and Mr. Chen Pei Kei, who had previously participated in a trial observation session. They provided professional insights and an in-depth analysis of the legal proceedings. This session not only revisited key aspects of the trial observation but also further strengthened law students’ understanding of court procedures and practical legal applications, while fostering interaction between legal professionals and students.

Resident Fellow, Ms. Alice Hong emphasized that the lawyers’ accessible yet professional interpretations, along with the engaging Q&A and open discussion sessions, would significantly enhance participating law students’ legal knowledge. These interactions help students gain deeper insights into practical legal experience and perspectives, laying a solid foundation for their future careers in the legal profession. Both lawyers expressed their belief that the combination of trial observation and sharing sessions would provide students with valuable exposure to legal career paths and practical case analysis. They also looked forward to continuing collaboration with the college to organize more related activities, jointly nurturing young legal professionals with strong legal expertise and a broad perspective.
