Dear Students and Colleagues,

The 1st International University Basketball Invitational Tournament will be held from 25 to 29 June at UM Sports Complex (N8), bringing the men’s basketball teams from 8 top universities namely

• Australia, University of Sydney
• China, Zhejiang University
• China, Macau, University of Macau
• Korea, Seoul National University
• Malaysia, Universiti Sains Malaysia
• Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University
• Singapore, National University of Singapore
• United Kingdom, University of Cambridge

This tournament aims to strengthen the connection between global universities and UM as well as to promote international sportsmanship. Participating teams hail from top universities across Australia, China, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and United Kingdom. In addition to on-court action, the tournament will feature cultural night and Macau cultural tour for the teams so as to promote Macau as a “City of Sports” and integrated development of culture, sports and tourism.

The opening ceremony will be held on 25 June, 14:00 at Sports Pavilion of UM Sports Complex (N8), follow by the first group match at 14:30 with our National Champion, UM Men's Basketball team. 

All colleagues and students are welcome to join and cheers for our UM team.
