UM Library and Moon Chun Memorial College are joining hands to host a BOYA x MCMC Musicales music lecture titled “Music! The Most Beautiful Song of the Soul” on September 10th, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, University Library (E2) Auditorium (G012). This lecture will be given by Mr. Lu Qiaodi. Classical music is closely related to the beauty of an individual’s life and existence. It effectively regulates psychological states, inspires a person’s will to strive, and is intimately connected with the fate of communities and even nations. This lecture will explore how classical music serves as the best medium for conveying truth, goodness, and beauty. It will be divided into three parts: “The Definition of Classical Music,” “Tips for Listening to Classical Music,” and “Classical Music and Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.”
