澳大校長出席2025世界大學校長論壇

澳門大學校長宋永華於11月8日受邀出席“2025世界大學校長論壇”。今屆主題為“人工智能與高等教育的未來”,來自全球五大洲40多個國家和地區的70多位外國高水平大學校長、20多位重要國際組織負責人、近20位院士、200多位內地大學書記及校長等近千名代表參與盛會。

論壇開幕式上,國家教育部副部長任友群在致辭中指出,大學校長要主動擔負起責任,積極應對人工智能時代的新挑戰。面向未來,中國教育部將堅定不移推進教育對外開放,一如既往支持中外高校開展務實合作,更好服務經濟社會高質量發展,增進人類福祉,共同開創更加美好的未來。

在平行論壇中,宋永華以“人工智能與科研範式轉型”為題發表主旨報告,以邁向智能化的科研範式演變為切入點,分享了澳大面對人工智能新時代的戰略佈局、科研平台以及實踐成果,並展望澳大繼續注重生態構建、領域拓展、前沿研究、技術邊界以及產業賦能,為人工智能與高等教育的未來貢獻澳大的經驗與力量。

論壇期間亦啟動了“全球高校人工智能教育教學創新協作機制”,包括澳大在內的78所中外知名高校成為首批機制成員。機制旨在攜手推動全球人工智能教育教學資源共建共享,探索人工智能人才培養機制、引領探索人工智能與教育教學深度融合的實踐路徑,共塑人工智能專業教育和通識教育模式,促進人工智能時代人才培養,為人工智能成為造福全人類的國際公共產品作出貢獻。

UM rector attends 2025 World University Presidents Forum

Yonghua Song, rector of the University of Macau (UM), attended the 2025 World University Presidents Forum in Zhejiang on 8 November. Themed ‘Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Higher Education’, the forum brought together nearly 1,000 representatives. These included over 70 presidents of leading universities and more than 20 heads of major international organisations from over 40 countries and regions across five continents, as well as nearly 20 academicians and over 200 university leaders from the Chinese mainland.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ren Youqun, vice minister of education of China, said that university presidents should take the initiative in addressing the new challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI). He added that the Ministry of Education of China will promote the opening up of education and foster cooperation between Chinese and foreign universities.

During a parallel forum, Song delivered a keynote speech on ‘AI and Scientific Research Paradigm Shift’. He presented UM’s strategic layout, research platforms, and practices in response to the age of AI. He also mentioned that UM will continue to focus on promoting the development of ecological civilisation, exploring new research areas, conducting cutting-edge research, achieving technological breakthroughs, and empowering industries, thereby contributing to the development of AI and higher education.

In addition, the Global University Collaborative Mechanism for Innovation in AI Education and Teaching was launched during the forum. This initiative comprises 78 member universities from around the world, including UM.
