澳大普通話辯論隊奪得「2025『有禮生活約章』之『尊重生命、愛護環境』青少年學生辯論比賽」普通話組冠軍
澳門大學普通話辯論隊於「2025『有禮生活約章』之『尊重生命、愛護環境』青少年學生辯論比賽」(普通話組)中表現出色,勇奪冠軍,展現澳大學生在思辨力、語言表達及公共議題分析上的卓越實力。
普通話組代表澳大的四位辯員分別為工商管理學院、鄭裕彤書院學生林卓誠,工商管理學院、何鴻燊東亞書院學生丘夢珊,工商管理學院、何鴻燊東亞書院學生李姝妮及人文學院、張崑崙書院學生葉子瑄。
普通話組的比賽於 11 月 16 日在澳門城市大學文化中心舉行。澳大在首場比賽對壘澳門城市大學,圍繞辯題 「政府應/不應以稅收作為治理環境問題的主要手段」 展開激烈攻防。雙方你來我往,論證縝密,最終澳大以 5:0 全票勝出。澳大三辯葉子瑄更憑其冷靜應對與清晰分析,獲選為本場「最佳辯論員」。
根據比賽章程,普通話組以「各場勝出隊伍的總得分」排序決定冠、亞、季軍。在所有勝出隊伍中,澳大的總得分最高,因此奪得是次比賽的普通話組冠軍。賽事由市政署主辦,澳門城市大學學生會協辦,並由澳門演辯文化協會承辦。活動旨在為本澳青少年提供交流平台,透過辯論探討「尊重生命、愛護環境」等議題,增強邏輯思考與語言表達能力,促進公民意識及對公共政策的關注,並推動禮儀文化的傳承。澳大普通話辯論隊在是次賽事脫穎而出,再次彰顯澳大於本澳辯論界的領先地位,亦為推廣青年思辨教育及公共議題討論作出貢獻。
UM Mandarin Debating Team Wins the Mandarin Division Championship at the “2025 ‘Courtesy Charter’ – ‘Respect Life, Protect the Environment’ Youth Debating Competition”
The UM Mandarin Debating Team delivered an outstanding performance in the Mandarin division of the “2025 ‘Courtesy Charter’ – ‘Respect Life, Protect the Environment’ Youth Debating Competition,” winning the championship and showcasing UM students’ excellence in critical thinking, eloquence, and public-issue analysis.
UM was represented by four debaters in the Mandarin division including Lam Cheok Seng from the Faculty of Business Administration and Cheong Kun Lun College, Qiu Mengshan from the Faculty of Business Administration and Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College, Li Shuni from the Faculty of Business Administration and Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College and Ye Zixuan from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Cheong Kun Lun College.
The Mandarin division competition was held on 16 November at the Cultural Centre of the City University of Macau. UM faced City University of Macau in the first round, debating the motion “Whether the government should / should not use taxation as the primary means to address environmental issues.” Both teams engaged in a fierce and well-reasoned exchange. UM ultimately won with a unanimous 5–0 victory. UM’s third speaker, Ip Tsz Hin, was further recognized as the “Best Debater” of the round for her composure and clear analytical responses.
According to the competition rules, the champion, first runner-up, and second runner-up of the Mandarin division are determined by the total score of all winning teams. Among all teams that won their matches, UM achieved the highest overall score and was therefore awarded the Mandarin Division Championship.
The competition was organized by the Municipal Affairs Bureau, co-organized by the Student Union of the City University of Macau, and executed by the Macao Oratory Culture Association. The event aims to provide a platform for local youth to exchange ideas through debate, explore themes such as “respecting life” and “environmental protection”, enhance logical thinking and language expression, promote civic awareness and engagement with public policy issues, and encourage the inheritance of courteous cultural values.
UM’s victory once again highlights the university’s leading position in Macau’s debating community and contributes to the promotion of youth critical-thinking education and public-issue discussion.
