澳大英語演講隊奪全澳英語演講賽冠亞軍
澳門大學英語演講隊於第24屆全澳英語演講大賽暨“21世紀杯”全國英語演講大賽澳門分區賽決賽中，憑藉出色的演講技巧與優秀的講辭設計，獲得大學組的冠軍和亞軍殊榮。
適逢今年澳門協辦第十五屆全國運動會，是次比賽以全運會為主題，其中大學組以 “第十五屆全運會志願工作的價值”為題，參賽者須於決賽中自備四分鐘演講，並進行即席演講及回答現場問題。
澳大英語演講隊破澳大紀錄共有7名選手進入今屆大學組決賽。在澳大英語演講隊教練、人文學院英語中心導師陳嘉麟的指導下，七位成員以不同的切入點與描述，多角度分析志願工作的價值，並於即席演講環節中，以獨特的個人經歷，把題目的意義深入淺出地展現出來，贏得評委的認同。
澳大英語演講隊的選手在比賽中表現出色，其中人文學院、曹光彪書院學生王禎煦獲得大學組冠軍；社會科學學院、蔡繼有書院學生 Edward Daniel Alfaro 獲得大學組亞軍；法學院、蔡繼有書院學生譚巧怡，工商管理學院、何鴻燊東亞書院學生李響，人文學院、馬萬祺羅柏心書院學生陶兆妤，工商管理學院、呂志和書院學生楊艾，以及社會科學學院、呂志和書院學生趙珊獲得優異獎。

UM English Public Speaking Team wins championship and first runner-up titles at Macao-wide English Speech Contest
The University of Macau (UM) English Public Speaking Team delivered an impressive performance at the 24th Macao-wide English Speech Contest & the ‘21st Century Cup’ National English Speaking Competition Macao Regional Contest, securing both the championship and first runner-up titles in the university category.
In this year’s competition, university contestants were required to deliver a prepared speech on the theme ‘The Value of Volunteering for the 15th National Games’, followed by an impromptu speech and a Q&A session. Seven members of the UM English Public Speaking Team advanced to the university finals, marking the best overall performance UM has achieved in the event. Wang Zhenxu and Edward Daniel Alfaro won the championship and first runner-up titles, respectively.
