MCM College: “Reason.Nature” Treasure Hunt

On February 4, 2026, the University of Macau’s Moon Chun Memorial College — Dom Pedro V House held a detective-themed treasure hunt titled “Reason.Nature.”
This immersive event encouraged students to engage in outdoor activity while cultivating observational skills, logical thinking, and teamwork through interactive exploration.
Participants became “campus detectives,” following staged clues to visit significant and ecological spots across the college. By observing details, sharing discoveries, and solving puzzles together, they not only practiced reasoning but also rediscovered often-overlooked campus features—from ancient tree roots and old plaques to floral installations—learning to appreciate their environment through active discovery.
The hunt also thoughtfully wove in elements of Macao’s local culture, allowing students to naturally encounter and connect with cultural features, enhancing their sense of belonging. Through a blend of physical movement, mental engagement, and teamwork, the activity supported both physical well-being and holistic skill development, offering a refreshing and educational break from routine academics.
