Sports: Suspension of Outdoor Basketball Court No. 10 and 11 until further notice (1 April 2026 onwards)

體育：10號及11號室外籃球場將暫停開放使用直至另行通知（2026年4月1日起）

 

各位同學及同事：

為配合鄰近S8薈萃坊和S9紹邦書院之「S5及S6研究生宿舍建造工程」，10及11號室外籃球場將於工程期間暫時關閉，直至另行通知。

受上述工程影響，該兩個籃球場及周邊範圍將有以下安排及情況：

• 場地封鎖：為確保安全，兩個籃球場將由2026年4月1日起暫停開放使用，直至另行通知；
• 環境影響：施工期間會產生灰塵及噪音，敬請使用者及周邊人士留意。

Dear Students and Colleagues,

To cope  with the “Construction works of S5 and S6 Postgraduate House” adjacent to S8 University Mall and S9 Shiu Pong College, the Outdoor Basketball Courts No. 10 and 11 will be closed for the duration of the project until further notice.

Affected by the above project, the two basketball courts and the surrounding areas will have the following arrangements and conditions:

• Venue closure: To ensure safety, the two basketball courts will be temporarily closed and locked for use from 1 April 2026 onwards until further notice.
• Environmental impact: Dust and noise will be generated during construction. Users and nearby individuals are advised to take note.
