親愛的同事及同學們：

ESG（環境保護、社會責任及公司治理）近年來日益受到關注。為進一步探討這一重要議題，安健及環境事務辦公室邀請了銀河娛樂集團（GEG）可持續發展及技術服務助理副總裁李民超先生蒞臨，舉辦「ESG的重要性」環保分享講座。

是次講座中，李先生介紹了ESG的核心概念，並分享了銀河娛樂集團如何積極支援國家“雙碳”目標——即於2030年前實現碳達峰、2060年前實現碳中和，同時配合澳門的綠色政策。

銀河娛樂集團通過實施多項措施，將環境保護及可持續發展融入其業務發展策略中，包括優化能源、水資源及廢棄物管理表現、減少排放、應對氣候變化，以及提升持份者的認知與參與度。相關工作亦獲得多項認證及獎項的肯定。

Dear colleagues and students,

ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) is gaining popularity nowadays. To explore this important topic, the Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs Office invited Mr. Justin Li, Assistant Vice President of Sustainability and Technical Services of Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), to deliver a sharing session “Why ESG Is Important” on campus.

During the session, Mr. Li explained the core concepts of ESG. He also shared how GEG has been proactively supporting the country’s “dual carbon” goals—achieving peak carbon emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060—as well as aligning with Macau’s green policies.

GEG integrates environmental protection and sustainable development into its business strategies by implementing various initiatives to optimize energy, water, and waste performance, reduce emissions, address climate change, and promote awareness and engagement among stakeholders. Their efforts have been recognized through several certifications and awards.
