The Centre for Teaching and Learning Enhancement (CTLE) would like to cordially invite you to take part in CTLE Online Half-day Professional Development Event, with title Activate Active Learning with our Keynote speaker, Prof. Aline Germain-Rutherford from University of Ottawa, and UM Faculty in a panel discussion and a technology session.
Fundamentally, active learning involves including students in what they are learning, and fostering an environment that encourages them to reflect and think on those matters. In this half-day event, we will explore some of the strategies, techniques and examples which teachers can use to spark active learning in their classroom.
