Award Presentation (Women’s Individual Sabre) – 2nd Runner UP

Competition Highlights

The “2021 Macau Fencing Ranking Tournament – Round 2” was organized by Macao Fencing General Association from 9-10 Sep in Macao. A total of 185 local contestants from Macao higher education institutions, middle schools and fencing clubs have participated in the competition.

23 student athletes from UM Fencing Team, led by Team Coach (LOK MAN TAK) and Assistant to Coach (LONG SIN HANG), had participate in the competition of six individual events, including Men’s Individual Epee, Women’s Individual Epee, Men’s Individual Foil, Women’s Individual Foil, Men’s Individual Sabre and Women’s Individual Sabre respectively. Two of the UM Fencing Team members, YANG HANQI and CHANG ZEXI, captured the 2nd runner-up of Women’s Individual Sabre event, while the overall results are shown as below:
