Macao Cultural Excursion Series – Tracing Origins Around Guia Lighthouse
澳門文化之旅系列 – 東望洋燈塔尋根之旅
To foster cultural engagement among students, Guia House of Moon Chun Memorial College, University of Macau led an excursion to trace origins around the Guia Lighthouse on 23rd September 2023, to appreciate local history, architecture and religious culture. Upon arrival at Guia Hill, the group walked along the Hiking Trail for an hour. Then, they visited the Guia Lighthouse complex. A tour guide of Macau Cultural Affairs Bureau welcomed them at the tourist centre and explained the structure and history of Guia Lighthouse and Guia Military Fort, as well as the architectural and religious features of Guia Chapel. Finally, they experienced the world’s shortest cable car. This cultural excursion gave everyone an in-depth understanding of Macao’s World Cultural Heritage – Guia Lighthouse. It enriched their understanding of the history and culture of Macau, inducing a greater appreciation for this small city.
為促進院生的文化參與，了解本地的歷史、建築及宗教文化，澳門大學滿珍紀念書院之Guia House於 2023 年 9 月 23 日舉辦了一個「東望洋燈塔尋根之旅」。到達東望洋山後，參加者沿著松山健康徑步行一小時。然後，他們參觀了東望洋燈塔建築群。澳門文化局的導賞員在遊客中心迎接他們，並講解東望洋燈塔和東望洋炮台的結構和歷史、以及聖母雪地殿聖堂的建築和宗教特色。最後，他們體驗了全世界最短的纜車。這次文化之旅，讓大家深入瞭解澳門的世界文化遺產 ─ 東望洋燈塔，豐富了他們對澳門歷史和文化的認識，也讓他們更加欣賞這座小城。
