MLC與FAH的知識整合:靜觀如何減壓,提高專注力和加強身心健康
In observance of UM’s Mental Health Awareness Month, Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College (MLC) extends a cordial invitation to Prof. Katherine Chen of FAH for an enlightening Mindfulness Workshop. Amidst the fervour of the academic semester in October when students find themselves grappling with the demands of assignments and mid-term examinations, the pursuit of stress reduction has assumed paramount importance for MLC. To address this pressing need, MLC was honoured to host a workshop on Mindfulness, conducted by college fellow, Prof. Katherine Chen, the Director of the English Learning Centre and Professor in the Department of English. Prof. Chen shared her invaluable insights on techniques for stress reduction through the practice of Mindfulness. In the workshop, participants attune themselves to their own bodies, emotions, and thoughts, thereby improving the ability to sense and connect with these inner dimensions ultimately improving concentration and their overall attention span. The students expressed their profound gratitude to Prof. Chen for her invaluable instruction. They wholeheartedly believe that the knowledge imparted will serve them well throughout their academic journeys and beyond, constituting a lifelong benefit.
