UM Men’s and Women’s Basketball Team won the Championship and 2nd Runner-up of
“Asian University Basketball Invitational 2023” respectively

The Asian University Basketball Invitational 2023 (Organized by the University of Macau Alumni Association, supported by the Education and Youth Development Bureau, University of Macau (UM), UM Alumni and Development Office and UM Office of Sports Affairs, and sponsored by the Henry Fok Foundation) which was held from 22-24 Dec at UM Sports Complex – Sports Pavilion.

There were a total of 7 universities from Mainland China, Macau and Malaysia being invited to compete in this invitational, including the winner of 2023 CUBA League, Guangdong University of Technology, and the past winner of CUBA League, Huaqiao University. OSA has sent UM Basketball Teams (Both Men and Women) to participate in this invitational and the final results are shown as below:

– UM Men’s Basketball Team : Champion of 回歸紀念碟 (Men’s Division)
– UM Women’s Basketball Team : 2nd runner-up of 回歸紀念盃 (Women’s Division)

Aside from competing in the invitational, all teams were invited to visit Macau famous tourist spots and also a welcoming banquet to show hospitality.
