澳大新增商業分析碩士課程 引領商業數據驅動發展

澳門大學將於2024/2025學年推出理學碩士學位(商業分析)課程,為學生提供在商業領域中駕馭數據驅動決策的知識和技能。該課程結合扎實的商業基礎原則和尖端的分析技術,使畢業生能夠從海量數據中提取有價值的見解,推動戰略性決策。

澳大工商管理學院講座教授、理學碩士學位(商業分析) 課程統籌人張文揚表示,各行各業都非常重視運用數據進行明智決策、提高效率和推動可持續增長的能力,澳大理學碩士學位(商業分析)課程畢業生將擁有廣泛的就業機會,可以在金融、醫療保健、電子商務、諮詢等行業擔任商業分析師、數據科學家、分析顧問、數據策略師等。

澳大理學碩士學位(商業分析)課程修讀年期為兩年。課程結合嚴格的分析培訓與商業敏銳性,培養全面發展的專業人才,解決複雜的商業問題。在課程中,學生將深入研究統計分析、數據挖掘、預測建模、機器學習和優化等領域,熟練掌握行業中常用的編程語言和工具,有效操縱和實現數據可視化;並進一步了解如何利用數據識別市場趨勢、優化運營、提升客戶體驗及推動組織創新。

UM launches Master of Science in Business Analytics programme to drive data-driven development in business sector

The University of Macau (UM) will offer the Master of Science (MSc) in Business Analytics programme in the 2024/2025 academic year. The programme aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to make data-driven decisions in the business sector. Combining a solid foundation in business principles and cutting-edge analytics techniques, it will empower graduates to extract valuable insights from vast amounts of data to support strategic decision-making.

Zhang Wenyang, chair professor in the Faculty of Business Administration and programme coordinator of the MSc in Business Analytics programme, said that the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making, improved efficiency, and sustainable growth is highly valued in all industries. Graduates of the MSc in Business Analytics programme will have access to a wide range of career opportunities. They can take on roles as business analysts, data scientists, analytics consultants, and data strategists in finance, healthcare, e-commerce, consulting, or other industries.

The MSc in Business Analytics programme is a two-year programme. By combining rigorous analytical training with business acumen, the programme aims to develop well-rounded professionals who are capable of solving complex business problems. Students will also delve into the fields of statistical analysis, data mining, predictive modelling, machine learning, and optimisation. They will gain proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in the business sector and will be able to manipulate and visualise data effectively. In addition, they will learn how to use data to identify market trends, optimise operations, enhance customer experience, and drive innovation in organisations.

The programme places a strong emphasis on practical applications and experiential learning. Students will engage in real-world projects, case studies, and internships, where they will gain hands-on experience and learn how to solve real-world business challenges through collaboration with industry partners.
