泰國亞洲理工學院校長率團訪澳大
泰國亞洲理工學院校長山本和郎率代表團訪問澳門大學，獲澳大校長宋永華熱情接待，雙方就探討兩校合作展開交流。
會上，宋永華向代表團介紹了澳大的歷史沿革和發展概況，並表示澳大始終秉持“立足澳門、共建灣區、融入國家、走向世界”的理念，積極培養更多具國際視野的人才，創造更多科研成果。山本和郎表示，希望進一步加強亞太地區的合作網絡，並與澳大開展各領域的科研項目、學生交流等戰略合作。
另外，代表團一行參觀了澳大圖書館及張崑崙書院，深入了解澳大近年的發展成果、人才培養模式及住宿式書院系統。山本和郎對澳大的快速發展及人才培養給予高度評價。
亞洲理工學院始創於1959年，並於1967年開始使用該學院名稱，是一所國際工程及管理研究生院。現已發展成為由全世界許多國家和地區的政府、國際組織、基金會、商務機構和個人資助的亞洲最大的國際性研究生院之一。
亞洲理工學院代表團成員還有國際和公共事務辦公室執行總監Shawn P. Kelly、電腦科學與資訊管理助理教授Chaklam Silpasuwanchai和新興市場國際合作主管Danielle Duan。澳大張崑崙書院代院長黃民聰、全球事務總監王瑞兵、張崑崙書院副院長黃才試等亦參與接待。

President of Asian Institute of Technology of Thailand leads delegation to visit UM
A delegation led by Kazuo Yamamoto, president of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) of Thailand, visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song. The two parties exchanged ideas on establishing cooperation between the two institutions.
During the meeting, Song gave the delegation an overview of UM’s history and development and said that the university is committed to cultivating talent with global perspectives and producing more research outcomes. Yamamoto expressed hope that AIT will strengthen its cooperation network in the Asia-Pacific region, and engage in strategic cooperation with UM in research projects in various fields and student exchanges. The delegation also visited the UM Library and Cheong Kun Lun College to gain more insights into the university’s latest achievements, talent development model, and residential college system. Yamamoto spoke highly of UM’s rapid development and talent cultivation.
