Wong Chi Hin (FSS/HFPJC – 4th from the left) from UM Men’s Volleyball Team and Cheong Weng Lam (FED/SPC – 5th from the left) from Women’s Volleyball Team were awarded as “Best Libero”
Sit Chi Kin (FSS/CKLC – 6th from the left) from UM Men’s Volleyball Team was awarded as “Best Setter”
Kong I Lam (FLL/HFPJC – 9th from the left) and Hong Caiying (FED/LCWC – 10th from the left) from Women’s Volleyball Team were awarded as “Best Blocker”
Wang Meng (FED – 8th from the right) from Women’s Volleyball Team was awarded as “Best Spiker”

 

The “2024 Volleyball Amateur League (VAL) – Macao Station” was held successfully on 30-31 Mar at UM Sports Complex (N8). University of Macau is the venue supporting unit of this activity. It is organized by 惠動樂 (廈門) 體育文化有限公司 and Volleyball Association of Macao, China, and supported by University of Macau Alumni Association. There were 24 teams with over 300 participants from mainland China and Macao respectively.

The participating teams included:

Men’s Group:
廣州Charming, 百威兄弟, LT光嗚, UVCC隊, 不太會打排球隊, 凌鋒, 慈青體育會, 立風, 青年聯隊, GZSC, 兔米特, 友傑, 澳門大學 (UM), 絕不坑U, Fireball, 赤揚甲

Women’s Group:
Bedbugs, 培正C, 狼體女子隊, 金譽國際, 澳門大學A (UM A), 紅藍, 澳門大學B (UM B), 繃帶人

UM sent a total of 32 students to participate in the competition. At last, both Men’s Volleyball Team and Women’s Volleyball Team (UM Team A) got the 2nd Runner-up, UM Team B got the 5th place of women’s group and the results are as follows:
