Sports Interest Course – Lawn bowling, organized by the Office of Sports Affairs (OSA), was successfully held. The course curriculum spanned a total of 2 classes, with each class comprising 6 sessions. These sessions were held every Tuesday and Thursday, commencing from 12 to 28 Mar, and subsequently from 9 April to 2 May. The classes took place at the Lawn Bowling Green, with the objective of introducing participants to the benefits of lawn bowling and enhancing their knowledge and skills in this discipline.

Certified instructors from the Macau Lawn Bowls General Association provided personalized instruction to the participants in an engaging group setting. This enabled the attendees to gain firsthand experience of the unique aspects of lawn bowling and acquire the requisite techniques.

The course garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants, who expressed both satisfaction and gratitude. Many reported that the experience not only improved their lawn bowling proficiency but also deepened their understanding and appreciation of the sport. The Office of Sports Affairs (OSA) is delighted with the successful outcome of the course and remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting sports engagement within the University of Macau community.
