深圳大學校長率團訪澳大促灣區高教合作

深圳大學校長毛軍發今(29)日率代表團訪問澳門大學,獲澳大校長宋永華熱情接待。雙方就推動兩校研究生人才聯合培養、深化學術科研合作等議題開展了深入的座談交流,期望攜手推進粵港澳大灣區高等教育協同發展。

宋永華表示,深圳大學與澳門大學同為“特區大學”,都有著服務國家所需、服務特區和大灣區發展的特殊使命。兩校20多年前已建立合作關係,多年來在學生交流交換和學術科研合作等方面成果豐碩。展望未來,希望兩校繼續強強聯合,充分發揮雙方獨特的地理優勢和教育資源優勢,著力推動研究生人才聯合培養,深化學術科研合作,相互學習、共同發展,為推動大灣區高水平人才高地及國際教育示範區建設作出積極貢獻。

代表團一行還參觀了澳大大學展館、圖書館,並在智慧城市物聯網國家重點實驗室副主任馬少丹的介紹下參觀該實驗室。代表團一行對澳大建設以及科研發展給予高度評價。

代表團成員還包括黨政辦公室主任程其明、研究生院院長劉永、科學技術發展研究院院長崔宏志、港澳台事務辦公室項目主管雷聲遠。澳大研究服務及知識轉移辦公室主任王春明、全球事務總監王瑞兵、區域海洋研究中心代主任徐杰亦參與接待。

President of Shenzhen University leads delegation to visit UM and forge higher education cooperation in GBA

A delegation led by Mao Junfa, president of Shenzhen University (SZU), visited the University of Macau (UM) today (29 May) and was warmly received by Yonghua Song, rector of UM. The two parties had in-depth discussions on promoting the joint training of postgraduate students and deepening academic and research collaboration, with the hope of working together to promote the coordinated development of higher education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Song said that UM and SZU share the same mission to serve the needs of the country and the development of the GBA. The two universities have established partnerships for more than 20 years and their cooperation in various areas have yielded fruitful results. He expressed hope that UM and SZU will continue to make full use of their geographical advantages and educational resources to promote the joint training of postgraduate students and strengthen academic and research collaboration, thereby contributing to the cultivation of top-notch talent and the development of an international education demonstration zone in the GBA.

The delegation also visited the University Gallery, the UM Library, and the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City. They spoke highly of the university’s campus facilities and research development.
