UM Men’s Volleyball Team and Women’s Volleyball Team got the 6th Place of Youth Group at “The 1st Regional Youth Volleyball Tournament” respectively

The UM Men’s Volleyball Team and Women’s Volleyball Team were being invited to participate in “The 1st Regional Youth Volleyball Tournament (首屆海峽兩岸青少年排球友誼賽)” which was held in Xiamen from 20-26 Jul.  The participating teams were come from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan respectively, the teams of Youth Group are shown as below:

Men’s Youth Group:
江蘇青年隊, 浙江青年隊, 上海青年隊, 上海體育中學, 山東濟南中學, 澳門大學 (UM), 台灣台中豐原高商, 台灣台南曾文農工, 台灣苗栗苑裡高中A, 台灣苗栗苑裡高中B

Women’s Youth Group:
福建青年隊, 重慶巴蜀中學, 澳門大學 (UM), 台灣苗栗苑裡高中, 台灣台中東山高中A, 台灣台中東山高中B

UM sent a total of 26 students to participate in the competition. At last, both Men’s Volleyball Team and Women’s Volleyball Team got the 6th place at the Youth Group, and the results are as follows:

   

Through this activity, our teams had the opportunity to compete with the athletes from other volleyball teams so as to enhance their skills and experience. In addition, it is also a good chance for us to promote Outstanding Student-Athlete Admission Scheme (OSAAS) for potential students.
